Blumberg Photography Studio is a family owned business by husband and wife team, Mike and Kate Blumberg.  This is a family tradition spanning over 100 years.  Our Great Grandfather, Luman Snow, was a Photographer for Montcalm County in the early 1900's.  He had studios in both Stanton, Michigan and also on Mackinaw Island.  Luman was a photographer during the guilded era (the time of the Titanic) when photographers not only took pictures of their subjects but also developed all their own films, and made enlargements in labs within their studios.  Many no longer do this.  However, our philosophy is to bring back this practice.  We don't just take your pictures.  Our studio now incorporates digital technology to provide the highest quality pictures.  Although we now use digital imaging, we have years of traditional color processing experience in our own custom color lab.  The knowledge and experience we have gained allow us to provide supurb photographs.  We are with your pictures from the moment of creation till we place your pictures in your hands.  This allows us to monitor quality at ever aspect of production.  The end result: higher quality, quicker turnaround, and better value.
